That sounds really beautiful! You'll love it then.I find that even if it hurts (my most painful area so far has been just below the knee) the result just makes it worth it! you'll look at it once it's done and totally forget that it may or may not have been sore

Thanks and exactly, that's why I'm genuinely looking forward to getting it done because it'll totally be worth it in the end smile

Thank you, I figured it's something I'm passionate about, so why not? smile
Oh and congrats new Rakshasa!

I have a cats head on my left shoulderblade

I was actually tempted to have one with something to do with a cat (I'm a big cat person) but I thought I'd get this one done first. Are you planning on getting any more?

Cat people are the best kind of people!
I'd love to get one of my kitten too.

I'm gonna have to agree with you there! Aw, you have a kitten, what's his/her name? I wish they'd stay that way, kittens are just too cute. I could never get a tattoo of my own cats cause I have six of them so I'd have to rethink that whole idea, maybe just something to do with a cat lol

Isabel_Q I really don't do much just help out whoever I can, I wish I could do more to be honest but thank you anyway! hug

Her name is Atom, I adopted her last year from a haven for abandoned animals that was being closed down. So she definitely means enough to me to get her permanently put on my body.

Aw, I love her name! You definitely should do it, I can see why she means so much to you and of course that way, you'll always be able to remember her smile

Oh and you mentioned setting up a new thread...maybe in The Bar section of the forum? It would save taking up the artwork thread, just thought I'd run it by you smile

I'm a big cat person too! biggrin Had cats basically all my life growing up, so when I moved out at 17 I got two cats, Tessa and Lilly. Tessa is gone, but I still have Lilly, she'll be 11 this year. And last summer I adopted a cat named Clinton, he's 14 years old. Love 'em!

I'm planning to get a tattoo of my mom on the inside of my arm. She died 7 years ago this summer, so I've wanted it for a very long time, and I still don't know when I'll be able to get it done. It costs so much, you know? And right now I'm unemployed, so first I need to get a job, then pay down some of my debt, before I can splurge on more tattoos. But I will have it done!

Valkyrior, maybe you could move the posts about tattoos and stuff from here to the new thread?

That's really really amazing, I love it when tattoos mean a lot to people and tell a story.

I'm trying to work mine so that it's all one big timeline, But yea i totally know where you're coming from that they're expensive!

I carry a family portrait everywhere I go, and to have them on my body to look at always would be amazing!

They do look like a Valkyrie's wings, small feathers at the top fanning out into larger ones at the bottom edges. It's really well done.

Of course I will smile At first i wanted to get her on my ribs/waist but i save the undercover areas for more personal tattoos, so I'll either be getting her as a full forearm piece, or on the side of my calf, depending on the consultation tomorrow. The artist said it would depend on her wing span when i spoke to her this morning, but i'll keep you up to date wink

SlightlyTwisted aw, I love their names...I'm sorry about Tessa. I've had cats pretty much all of my life and it's always so hard to let them go but I could never live without at least one cat, I find that they're sometimes so much better company than people.

That sounds amazing, I hope you can get it done soon! I think it's lovely when people get family tattoos, I'd love to do that with my mum and dad actually.

Isabel_Q I don't blame you for the wing obsession either, I may be a little bit obsessed with them too and those are beautiful, I don't think I'd ever be brave enough to have that done but it would look amazing.

Valkyrior wow, when you've finished that timeline it's gonna look awesome. I'd love to see the Valkyrie too when it's finished.
