I still say the kiss was not caused by the machine. Tamsin initiated that kiss. Not Bo. The machine only affected Bo through Trick because they're related. I doubt anything Trick would do would make Tamsin behave a certain way. Tamsin has always made her own decisions. Even when she was forced by circumstances, she always chose Bo. If that kiss had been the result of the machine, then the revelation of who the Wanderer's mark is wouldn't have affected Tamsin in such a way. She really was upset when it was confirmed Bo was her mark. "My personality is who I am... my attitude depends on who you are..."

But can't you tell? BOTH of their emotions and senses and actions in that moment were totally caused by the machine. Duh. It's completely irrelevant cause... machine.
