Hey none of my friends are really into lost girl so I thought I'd come here and make some new ones to OMG with
W E L C O M E!
Hope you like the site. Go ahead and introduce yourself to the lovely folks here in the Hello thread. Don't be shy. We won't bite. Bo: "I'm alright, but I'm not perfect." Tamsin: "Yes, you are. To me, you are."
lol anyway, lord have mercy.. movies... the list is a long one. Star Wars, Harry Potter, LotR, Shaun of the Dead (or anything with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost in it really), The Last Unicorn (THATS RIGHT DON'T HATE), Serenity, and uh uh there's a lot more but my brain is mush.
Not one particular movie I watch all the time. Just whatever I feel like or are obsessing with at the moment.
Favourite Disney movie? Definitely more than one, but my go to Disney flicks are Beauty and the Beast, Monsters, Inc. and Finding Nemo (I know the last two are Pixar, but they were still part of of Disney).
Favourite genre, depends on my mood really. Asking me that is like asking me what type of music I like... next to impossible to answer. "My personality is who I am... my attitude depends on who you are..."
I like Zombie and Vampire movies, in general, but dislike most other horror movies. Paranormal Activity, Freddy Krueger, and anything Chucky-related are my most hated horror movies. (I actually had PTSD symptoms for a year after a couple of friends made me watch Paranormal Activity 1 and 2 back to back on Halloween. Never. Again.)
Favoritest movie ever is Shawshank Redemption. The only movie ever made that's better than its source book, and especially considering it's Stephen King, whose tv/movie adaptations are shit in general, that's saying something.
I'm also deeply in love with Labyrinth, The Last Unicorn, and the Nightmare Before Christmas.
Favorite Disney movie ... damn that's hard. Probably The Sword in the Stone because Merlin and Arthur and Camelot. ♥
I'm a big Harry Potter fan, but I qualify that a bit because as great as JKR's work is, the movies were not great adaptations, and I didn't agree with some of her 'ships. But that's what fanfiction's for, yes? And I read a LOT of HP fic. ...Just nothing that ships Harry/Ginny or Ron/Hermione. Sorry for the H/G and R/Hr shippers. (Also, Snape and Fred and Remus and Tonks shouldn't have fucking died. UGH.) *coughs* Tangent over. I promise. "The world was on fire and no one could save me but you. It's strange what desire will make foolish people do. I never dreamed that I'd meet somebody like you."
I actually own a pretty metal-box collector's edition DVD of the last Indy movie, but haven't been able to make myself watch it yet. I'm conflicted because it's Indiana Jones, but everyone says it sucks so bad. =\ "The world was on fire and no one could save me but you. It's strange what desire will make foolish people do. I never dreamed that I'd meet somebody like you."
Favorite genre? Horror/Sci Fi Favorite Disney movie? Easy, Animated: The Lion King, Not Animated: Mary Poppins The last one you saw? Last Movie i watched was Pitch Perfect for like the 50th time, I love it so much And Frozen, which i really love.
My fav movies include: The Alien Trilogy (Alien vs predator never happened), Star Wars, Evil Dead 1 & 2 (Old..the new one also never happened), SAW (the first 3), LOTR, Harry Potter, The Cube trilogy, Nightmare on Elm street, Poltergeist My list of classic horrors could go on forever, Don't get me started on how much i despise modern day horror movies. “Tomato juice, celery, vodka. Looks like lunch to me.”
