I've been giving some thought to this and I think we need to expect that Tamsin will be different from what we knew.
Not because she is reborn and lost her memories. That's temporary.
But because this Tamsin has what the previous incarnation did not. And that's friends. Kenzi, Bo and Dyson took her in and cared about her, protected her when she couldn't protect herself and Bo went to rescue her from Massimo...something the previous Tamsin said would never have happened with any of her friends. Remember how she categorized them in The Kenzi Scale? That they wouldn't walk two blocks to get her out of a bear trap or something like that?
This Tamsin has support the last one did not.
This Tamsin also has been shown very early on in this cycle about sacrifice and caring. She's already been given a chance to come to the defense of someone who meant something to her...Bo.
This Tamsin has been accepted for who she is by someone she thought hated her...and was told that she could choose who and what she could be. To not let her species and clan determine who and what she is.
So I expect Tamsin will have her snark and spark...but not be as bitter or defeated.
And at some point...hopefully soon...she'll get her memories back. And possibly be burdened with the kind of suffocating tasks she had in previous life cycles...but now she knows she has people who care about her and will back her up no matter what.
I want to see her remember her conflicted emotions regarding Bo...I want her to remember the bathtub scene...and choosing to join Bo at the end.
And I want to know how long a valkyrie life cycle is...because if this is her last...I want it to last several hundred years. lol "And I wonder...can you really know yourself without memory? I mean, can you really know what you want?" - Bo Dennis, "Of All the Gin Joints"
