A headcanon is pretty much something (an aspect of personality, past, or plot) that isn't explicitly written into the show or character, but is believed, accepted, or simply hoped for by a fan, or the fandom. Post yours for Tamsin, valkubus, and Lost Girl here! "Why do you care so much!?"
#1: Tamsin's never been on the receiving end of a gift before, so when Bo gets her a little something for Christmas, she isn't sure how to respond, but she can't help but smile. "Why do you care so much!?"
Here's something that popped in mind the other night... it's a bit rushed, but I made a promise.
#2: Tamsin can see how sad Bo is at having to leave Lauren behind Taft's compound, even though Bo says she's fine. So she makes it her mission to find the human so Bo can get closure, once again sacrificing her shot at happiness just to see the woman she is deeply in love with have a chance to be happy.
Kenzi realises this, and befriends the valkyrie in order to play matchmaker. She sees that of all the people Bo has been with, Tamsin is the only that truly understand Bo's succubus nature. Not only is Tamsin strong enough (now that she has been reborn) to satisfy Bo and keep her alive, but Tamsin would also be all right with Bo having multiple partners because it is in her nature. "My personality is who I am... my attitude depends on who you are..."
#3: Tamsin believes the sacrifice she's made for Bo when driving off that cliff might be the most meaningful thing she's ever done in her life. She'd rather choose death than betray Bo. Bo: "I'm alright, but I'm not perfect." Tamsin: "Yes, you are. To me, you are."
#4: Tamsin was on her last life, and in a panicked attempt to cling onto her life, she went to the Wanderer and offered to do his bidding in exchange for another rebirth. When she meets Bo, this plan is in full force, until her way of thinking shifts, and she longer fears death... she now fears nothing more than harming or losing Bo. "Why do you care so much!?"
#5: Bo realises she doesn't know the first thing about love. She makes the decision of not hooking back up with either Dyson or Lauren Available to users only.
Slowly, the connection between Tamsin and Bo deepens, specially when she finds out how crucial young Tamsin was in helping out with finding and rescuing Bo from the limbo The Wanderer trapped her on. Eventually friendship leads to the realisation that they're soul mates. "My personality is who I am... my attitude depends on who you are..."

#6: Bo remembers Tamsin first and does her best to help the valkyrie remember. She needs Tamsin to remember their connection. She needs Tamsin to remember how they went from enemies to being whatever it was they were when everything with Taft happened.
Tamsin slowly regains some of memories, but everything that happened with Bo is still fuzzy still Massimo appears in the crack shack. He shows Tamsin a picture of the two of them together and convinces her that with his help, she was responsible for Bo’s disappearance. She runs away thinking Bo only tolerates her out of pity and that Bo doesn’t remember everything. She decides to leave before Bo has a chance to kick her out.
Tamsin, with no place to go and no truck to live out of, returns to the cave where Inari was hiding. Her memories of what happened in her last life cycle return. She spends sleepless nights thinking about everything that has happened so far between her and Bo. Part of her believes that whatever it is that has developed between them can become so much more, but fear overtakes her because from what she can remember, she has never been in love before. She has never felt this connection to another person the way she feels connected to Bo. Afraid her nature of pushing everyone away will destroy the only good thing in her life, she makes the decision to stay away, no matter how tempted she is to go back to Bo.
Bo finds out Massimo’s role in Tamsin’s disappearance while she’s kicking his ass for taking advantage of Kenzi and stealing their home. Everyone is surprised that instead of trying to find Lauren, Bo concentrates on finding Tamsin and slowly grows depressed when no matter where she looks, no one has seen nor heard the reborn valkyrie.
Tamsin, giving in to temptation heads to the crack shack, but can’t muster enough courage to enter. As she walks away, Bo opens the door and sees Tamsin’s retreating form. She runs to Tamsin when she’s ignored, and forces the blonde to turn around. After going back and forth about why Tamsin should stay, Bo tells her that no matter how afraid they are, they need to explore what they have and see where it leads. She tells Tamsin that the fact that even after all this time she can still feel Tamsin’s touch, her lips and even her smell has to mean something. Tamsin closes her eyes at Bo’s words and after what feels like an eternity, she nods. Together, they can figure things out. Maybe, this life cycle she’ll get to finally see what real happiness is. "My personality is who I am... my attitude depends on who you are..."
According to the old laws you are only permitted to mate within your own alignment. And because Bo's love and affection for Tamsin is greater than what she feels for Dyson and Lauren, who are both Light/Light affiliates, her blood pegs her as Dark, since Tamsin is Dark.
I will accept no other reason not involving Tamsin for Bo's Dark alignment
#8: Bo loses control and goes dark on the HSG after she feels cornered by some passive aggressive comment from Lauren.
They all freak out as they start to lose consciousness. All but Tamsin.
Tamsin goes full Valkyrie and advances towards Bo. She feels herself get weaker, but pushes forward. All she wants is for Bo to stop. She finally gets close enough to wrap her arms first, then her wings around Bo and whispers that she’s not a monster either. That we all have darkness inside of us, but we don’t have to succumb to it.
The words settle Bo and slowly, her blue eyes return to their usual brown, just as Tamsin’s face returns to normal and her wings recede back.
Bo’s last words before she passes out are “thank you.” "My personality is who I am... my attitude depends on who you are..."
